The construction at the existing front elevation, which is brickwork with stone dressings, is 225mm existing brickwork on the outside, 25mm ventilated cavity, Tyvek Housewrap breather membrane, 350mm Warmcell 500 dry blown recycled newspaper insulation with 100mm reclaimed softwood studs on the inner face, Intello Plus airtight membrane, 19x44mm softwood battens, lime render/plasterboard finish. The increased depth of the wall gives room for generous 45 degree splayed reveals to the windows and recessed window seats.

Its difficult to determine exactly what you are doing, but is Warmcell suitable for use in UK cavity wall construction?
