It is a very dense piece of architecture packed full of sustainable strategies and experimental techniques. Highly functional in its layout and by its ability to achieve a zero carbon rating, it is also surprisingly a cosy family home. The owner/ architect has ensured that the local community have been involved with the project from inception through to completion and the support and interest received towards the project has been extensive. The building is a living experiment that can feed back into the architectural and building communities.
